Snow Sport Injury Prevention Class
How You Will Improve Throughout This Course:
Hip and Ankle Mobility
Learn dynamic and static stretches to help improve mobility in critical joints to allow free movement and prevent injury in the high-speed, downhill environment.
Core Stabilization
Understand the importance of core stabilization in injury prevention on the mountain. Practice exercises that will improve stability and further reduce risk of injury.
Lower Extremity Strength
Improve strength in the hips and legs to help increase your speed, reduce your risk of injury, and allow you to take on a FULL day on the slopes with minimal fatigue.
Endurance Training
Improve the ability of your lungs, heart, and muscles to work together during extended bouts of exercise, also called cardiorespiratory endurance.
